Classic Banana Bread Recipe for a Perfect Morning Treat

Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas (about 350g without skin)
- 150g plain flour
- 100g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 60g unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 50g chopped walnuts or chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf tin (about 23cm x 13cm).
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add the melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, stirring well to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
